Modem Status Lights LEDS: Status indicators Below are short explanations of the DSL status lights of some modems used by Westco / Miller / Zenda / Communications Plus customers:

| PWR | ON | Modem has power |
| OFF | There is no power | |
| Status | ON | Modem is functioning properly |
| BLINKING | Modem is rebooting. | |
| OFF | Modem is not ready or has malfunctioned. | |
| LAN | ON | Modem has a successful 100Mb Ethernet connection. |
| OFF | Modem has a successful 10Mb Ethernet connection | |
| Activity | ON | Modem has a successful Ethernet connection. |
| BLINKING | Data is being sent or received. | |
| OFF | Modem is not ready or malfunctioned. | |
| USB | ON | USB link established |
| OFF | No USB link established |
| LED | State | Description |
| POWER | ON | Modem has power |
| OFF | There is no power | |
| STATUS | ON | Modem is functioning properly |

| ADSL | ON | Trying to connect ADSL line |
| OFF | ADSL line is linked | |
| ETHERNET | ON | Modem has a successful 100Mb Ethernet connection. |

The modem is unable to connect to Westco Online. Check the System Status to determine if you can resolve the issue. |

The modem is attempting to connect to Westco Online. |

Green |
The modem power is on. Look at the other lights to troubleshoot connectivity issues. |

Modem power off. Either turn it on and try to re-connect or follow these steps to troubleshoot the connection issue. |

Red |
This indicates a communication failure. Check the System Status. |

Green (blinking) |
This indicates a communication problem. Follow these steps to troubleshoot the connection issue. |

Green (solid) |
Modem is ready to communicate. Try some other troubleshooting steps if you are unable to connect. |

The modem and Westco Online are connected and the data is transmitting at a normal rate. |
