Community Garden Helps Fight Drug Use In Harrison County

A Clarksburg community garden continues its efforts to fight drug use. Through a partnership with Harrison County Family Resource Network, citizens worked to create a community garden. Families in the neighborhood adopt a bed and work together to grow their plants. On Saturday, everyone is invited to an ice cream social to celebrate the communities efforts from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Golf Outing Helps Marion County Rescue Squad Raise Money For New Equipment

The Marion County Rescue Squad is raising money for new equipment.  They hosted their annual inaugural golf outing at the Fairmont Field Club on Friday. Proceeds will go toward a mechanical CPR device, which can help relieve first responders from doing strenuous compressions.  One machine costs around $12,000.  A dinner will be held at the field club Friday evening and is open to the public.  The event includes a silent auction and cash bar.

1 Person Flown To Hospital After Marion County ATV Accident

Emergency crews are currently on scene of an ATV accident in Marion County.  According to 911 officials, the accident happened just after 9 p.m. on Four States Rd in Worthington.  The driver of the ATV is being flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital.  Officials have not released his name or condition at this time.  The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating.  Stay with 12 News for the latest.
